Chennai Super Kings today will take on Pune Warriors new team in the Indian Premier League.It will be the first match between both the teams.
Defending champion Chennai Super Kings would look to get back to winning track by taking on IPL 2011 debutants Pune Warriors in today’s IPL match. MS Dhoni led Chennai is second last in the points table after three defeats in five matches. Chennai has won against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore, and lost to Kochi Tuskers, Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab.Chennai have another nine matches to go along with today’s tie against Pune.Last year , they went on to win the title, after they were facing elimination close to the end of league.
Chennai's batting is strong withDhoni, Mike Hussey, Suresh Raina and Aniruddha in the team, worries are in the bowling department.Suraj Randiv, R Ashwin are yet to perform big.
Yuvraj Singh led Pune Warriors has work harder for points as they also lost last two of their matches. Pune Warriors rely heavily on Yuvraj and Jesse Ryder, with Robin Uthappa still due to perform. Their Bowling is also on weak side. Wayne Parnell had been economical but have not got many wickets.
